Azure Liu

I'm Azure Liu, living in Melbourne — studying and building products.

For the past two years I've been exploring: testing ideas, building tools, meeting people, and reviewing what worked. The most important lesson has been shortening the distance between having an idea and shipping it — so everything I build starts from my own daily needs. Training consistency became DAY 1; the pitfalls of landing in Melbourne became the Melbourne Arrival Handbook; my own desktop became MacPulse; my frustration with mixed Chinese-English dictation became Murmur, which is now turning into a product for everyone.

These products ship under Others Studio. My next step is turning building products into a business — the road ahead is entrepreneurship. If some day a scientific question grabs me and won't let go, I might chase it seriously for a while. But that's for later.
